Hello! I am Sarai Soto and I'm currently working on a project that was started by my partner's mother after covid in the Philippines and we wanted to continue the tradition. Every year for her birthday, instead of celebrating her typical birthday party with food, alcohol, music and showering her with gifts, she asked that as her birthday gift we give back to the community by doing a party to benefit the children that are lacked of resources in their province. Many children, unfortunately, don't have the resources to even attend a birthday party, or have basic items like toiletries, school items or shoes that would last them through the year. Our goal is to collect enough money to purchase items like backpacks, school supplies, shoes, toiletries, and nonperishable food items. I will be traveling to the Philippines by the end of April and will do the shopping for all the items while i am there. I will be documenting every purchase and, of course, will take as many photos of all the happy faces we will help create... Anything helps, even $1!! Thank you in advance for your generosity!!
