In keeping with all things Lidl, we have created a short rapid-fire round of FAQ's just in case our beautiful picture hasn't sold you!
WHO?
Well, there are two parts to this one:
- Who are we? The 2018/2019 group of Lidl Ireland Grads working in all aspects of the business from Logistics to Sales, HR to Category Management and everything in between. Sure aren't we only lovely!
- Who is this for? All funds rasied will be going to Lidl's charity partners. So in IE it's Jigsaw! Jigsaw is the national centre for youth mental health ensuring that no young person feels alone, isolated and disconnected from others around them. They are a team of professionals, volunteers and people passionate about young people and mental health. In Northern Ireland our charity partner is the NSPCC who work to protect vulnerable children from abuse, help support their families and work to rebuild lives after periods of abuse.
WHAT?
Okay, so we're aiming to raise a LOT of money for Jigsaw and the NSPCC to help support their work in communities across the island of Ireland. But to do this we need to hold a number of events and these all cost money. So to create some cash flow we are putting ourselves through some pain by climbing the tallest mountain in Leinster Lugnaculla, all 925 metres (gulp!).
WHERE?
C'mon now, pay attention! Lugnaculla in The Wicklow Mountains.
WHEN?
The 7th of April.
WHY?
Mental Health is something that everyone should be aware of, both how to spot someone struggling with theirs and how to help them, or how to manage your you own. Jigsaw is Lidl's official charity partner and as a business, we have committed to raising a massive €1 million to support their vision of a healthier, better Ireland.
