Jack’s Eagle Scout Project-Gazebo for RK Library

Tax deductible
Will you help me achieve my goals?

My name is Jack Pelczar. I am a sophomore at Garnet Valley High School and have chosen the Rachel Kohl Community Library as the beneficiary of my Eagle Scout Project. For this project, I will need to raise $4,000 to purchase and assemble a gazebo to install on the library's property.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

The purpose of an Eagle Scout Project is To give the Scout an opportunity to “plan, develop, and give leadership to others. Eagle Scout projects are evaluated on the benefit to the organization being served and on the leadership provided by the candidate.  After careful consideration, I have chosen the Rachel Kohl Community Library as the beneficiary of my project.

The Rachel Kohl Community library is a nonprofit organization that serves the five surrounding communities of Bethel, Chadds Ford, Chester Heights, Concord and Thornbury in Pennsylvania.  Our library's mission is to enhance the quality of life in our communities by providing the resources and services for life-long learning and enjoyment; the space and opportunity to gather and connect; and an environment that fosters a love of learning.

The fundraising goal for this project is $4,000 which will fund the purchase of a gazebo for the library.  I will manage the assembly and installation on their property with the support of my troop. I am asking for your support in helping me achieve this goal.  Please consider a donation to this project.

100% of contributions will be used to purchase the supplies necessary to build the gazebo and ensure it is surrounded by a safe and enjoyable space. The library will use this space as an outdoor extension of its current building that may be enjoyed by any member of the community. Classes and performances can also be hosted here.

Your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. Additionally, we will publicly recognize the following:
All contributions of $50 or more will be listed in the library newsletter upon project completion.
Contributions of $500 or more will be recognized on an engraved plaque to be placed on the gazebo.
