LIBERATEVILLAGE.COM FUND I

Hi, my name is Julio // HERU and I'm the Founder & CEO of Liberate which is a meditation app that introduced tens of thousands of the African Diaspora globally to meditation in a culturally relevant way. I'm also now the Head Chief-In-Training at www.liberatevillage.com which is really supporting us to heal in community.

I connected with a fellow chief-in-training from the community Kyree who is a beautiful 23 year old father to 2 children and a wise old soul. We connected on our history with drug addiction and how we really want to give our hearts to men. To give them guidance and figure out how to navigate life.

We're partnering together with YOU to bring me in person to Refined Life Solutions (https://refinedlifesolutions.com/), a rehab center based in Baltimore, Maryland to run a 2 hour workshop with these men. We expect about 30 men to show up and about 25 of those men to identify as Black.

The money goes towards the flight, food and meals, self-care, transportation, and Airbnb. This includes a little buffer incase anything unforseen happens.

I'm praying as a community we can come together to fund our own liberation.

I'm praying we can start answering the scream of the little boys who are hurt out there that need to be listened to and heard.

From my own healing and inner child work, there is this little boy inside of me that feels so alone and it's my work to be the healthy masculine and re-parent myself.
