Environmental Techs -Trash for Cash
Donation protected
Hello from:
Alex, Hayley, Sarah, Ali, Yatin, Laura, Anthony, Kayla, Bree, Melissa, Lori and Jenna!
We are students studying to become Environmental Technicians, and through this campaign we will pick up Trash for your Cash!!
We have an opportunity to visit Haliburton Forest to carry out a sampling and monitoring project of OUR own design for the culminating course in our program. This is an amazing opportunity for us to practice what we have been learning over the past 16 months, and we are asking for YOUR help to get us there! Between the 12 of us, it will cost $3900.
We are looking for donations of any amount to help fund this trip. In return for your CASH we will be cleaning up the TRASH in the Don River in Toronto, ON.
Here is the breakdown of how much time we will spend picking up garbage, based on your generous donations:
If we raise between $0 - $1000, we will pick up garbage for 2 hours.
If we raise between $1001 - $2000, we will pick up garbage for 4 hours.
If we raise between $2001 - $3000, we will pick up garbage for 6 hours.
If we raise between $3001 - $3900, we will pick up garbage for 8 hours.
If we raise MORE than $3900, we will donate the remainder of the funds to Friends of the Don East (fode.ca).
Thank you in advance for helping us make this amazing opportunity a reality, and for helping to clean up the Don River!
We will be clearing out the TRASH on April 11th, so you have until that day to get your donations in! Thanks again for all of your support!
From,
Alex, Hayley, Sarah, Ali, Yatin, Laura, Anthony, Kayla, Bree, Melissa, Lori and Jenna!
