Help Me Help Cambodia!

I have been given the amazing opportunity to travel abroad to Cambodia to do work that will have a real impact on a village and it's people! Through the program Reach Out Volunteers I, along with other students from around the World, will be traveling to Cambodia next spring to help a village in need!
The program is two weeks long and will include a variety of projects. The main focus of this trip is marine conservation; we will be cleaning up the waters and planting man-made coral pods. This is to repair damage that has been done due to commercial fishing, as well as encourage fish breeding in the area since it is the main source of protein for the villagers. We will also be working to clean up the island itself, and teaching the villagers environmental awareness so that they are able to keep their land safe and livable. There will also be building projects depending on the needs of the village. We may be building anything from schools, to houses, to jungle gyms!
I understand how costly this trip seems but it's not just travel expenses. We will be bringing all of our own supplies and materials for all of the projects throughout the trip so every last bit helps!
This trip is important to me because it's an opportunity to do real, good, work; to actually make a difference and have an impact on someone's life. More than that, it's a chance to be immersed in another culture, and to learn from the people and experience things I may not get to otherwise. This trip is going to be full of hard work, and I will be making a real difference, but I guarantee it is going to have just as much of an impact on me. And I can't wait!! :)
So please please please donate, whatever you can! And spread the word! Underneath is a link to the website of my specific trip where there are videos, and testimonials from previous volunteers along with plenty of more information. So check it out! I know that once you do you'll understand why this trip is so important to me and why I am so passionate about the work this program does!
And thank you in advance for any and all support!! :))
