Lexi and CC's Infertility Journey

Hi, my name is Brandy, and I am looking for help for my phenomenal friends, Lexi and CC Vitale. Having known Lexi for 17 years, one thing I have always been certain of is that she was meant to be a mother. Everyone who knows her knows how incredibly nurturing, loving, and caring she is, and how important family is to her. As soon as I met CC, I felt these same qualities and immediately knew they were a perfect match, for each other and as future parents. They have now been trying to grow their family since October 2021 and unfortunately, they have been met with numerous obstacles.

After trying relentlessly with donors every single month for 11 months with no success, they consulted fertility doctors who identified complications with one of Lexi's fallopian tubes. She made the difficult decision to go in for surgery to have it removed, but the surgery did not go as planned. The doctors found that she has stage four endometriosis, with one fallopian tube having an endometrioma mass that is unsafe to remove. After learning this devastating news, doctors have told Lexi and CC that IVF is the only possible route for Lexi to become pregnant. Unfortunately pregnancy is not an option for CC, so Lexi is the only viable option to carry, and only with IVF. To no surprise, insurance does not cover most of the IVF process, so it is going to be a very high out of pocket cost. Without including travel expenses, doctor visit copays, and other miscellaneous expenses, a single IVF insemination attempt will cost them at least $15,000.

We know that this is a big ask to all our family and friends, but any little bit helps.
