On July 29th, Levi went into the Emergency Department with severe back pain and was diagnosed with a kidney stone and a mass on his left kidney. Levi was referred to a urologist who told Levi he was >85% sure that he had renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) and wouldn’t have a biopsy until they removed part of his left kidney. Surgery is scheduled for October 26th (his birthday). Levi does not have insurance as his company does not offer it yet.
