Let’s work together to support Jason Clairmont

Hi I’m Lianne Ottaviano and this fundraising effort is for my brother Jason Clairmont. We are a local Niagara family and as many of you know Jason is a fun loving, happy guy with a fierce love of sports, outdoor activity and his family and his friends. Jason would do anything for anyone at anytime and never asks for anything. He is a giver and a supporter.
Jason was a high level athlete with a long hockey career starting in Wainfleet then to various Junior B teams and then to Ottawa and Florida.
In 2004 everything changed during a visit with an old hockey buddy in Ottawa with his daughter, then only 4 years old. Jason was in a catastrophic auto accident that took his health and his mobility. For 18 years he has continued to do his very best to raise his daughter, support children in wheelchairs and live an enjoyable life trying not to be a burden to anyone, all with a positive, happy attitude. Unfortunately the limits are beyond his control and he has relied on nurses, family and friends for some very simple activities like walking his dog, cutting the grass and simply enjoying life.
He’s an avid outdoorsman with the capabilities he has and enjoys hunting, fishing and gardening.
Suddenly there is an option to enhance everything he does and allow him to be the independent guy he always was. Action Track is an all terrain motorized wheelchair that will allow him to plow his own driveway, cut his own grass, take his dog on a hike or simply walk him in the snowy weather. This innovative chair is a gift to a person bound to a wheelchair. Unfortunately as most things in life this gift comes at a price. It is steep but invaluable.
I have attached a video link if you’d like to watch and understand the life altering value of this all terrain chair.
Jason is a giver and has a heart of gold and it his time to be supported by family, friends and community.
Please support the way you can if you can. Donate if you’re able or share the fundraising post.
let’s get him this gift!!!!
