Let's Transform Politics in Staten Island

My name is Brittany Ramos DeBarros. I'm a proud Staten Islander who just ran for Congress here in NY-11. I'm also an organizer who has helped build several national projects and organizations.

We ran the first viable, unbought, progressive Congressional campaign in this district, and while we lost the Democratic primary, we established a robust foundation that we MUST build on.

I'm excited to help do that alongside other incredible organizers from our communities.

I will fundraise through more traditional means for this project in the future, but right now I'm fundraising for grassroots seed money to extend the lease of our Staten Island campaign office and turn it into a community organizing space that could be home to several community projects, including this one. The rent is only $1000 a month for a spacious, well-located office already furnished and in the heart of Stapleton, Staten Island.

If we reach the $5,000 goal, we would be able to secure the office for at least 3 months to do voter registration and engagement operations through the November general in this critical swing seat, as well as have some extra funds for supplies and materials.
