Dear Friends and Family, We're reaching out today to share the story of Dr. Sung Um, who is in need of our help. Three years ago, Dr. Um suffered a severe head injury that resulted  in brain trauma, facial paralysis, and hemorrhaging in the eyes, which forced him to retire from his pastoral ministry and focus on recovery. Throughout this challenging time, Dr. Um's wife, Jewel, has been his primary support and caregiver. Despite the difficulties, Dr. Um has shown resilience. Though he had completed writing his book the accident halted the editing process for him. However with the help of an editor the book is almost complete.  His intentions are to return to servicing the community especially in the field of marriage and family counseling. God has granted him back his mental and physical strength to greater degree where now he is able to write, speaker, counsel and drive again. Dr. Um's is now focusing his ministry efforts under his second professional training of family and marriage counseling. Unfortunately, his inability to work has led to significant financial setbacks. That's why we're launching this GoFundMe campaign. Our aim is to help Dr. Um and Jewel regain their financial footing so they can continue their journey of service. We're reaching out to you, their friends and family, to kindly ask for your support.
