Let's show our love to John Fuller

Whether you know John Fuller as his former student, track athlete, basketball player, fellow coach, colleague, friend, or just in the community, you know him to be a kind, giving, loving man with a warm smile for everyone.

 

John's treasured wife of nearly 57 years, Mary Ann, sadly passed away in January 2021. Despite his loss, he didn't hesitate -- at 79 years old -- to step in as the legal guardian of his two grandsons when they needed him. Chase and Bryce lost their mom (John's daughter, Lisa) from Leukemia in 2017, and their father, Charles, just lost his battle to cancer in February 2022.

 

John's energy, warmth, love, and commitment knows no bounds. He has done an incredible job with the boys already, single-handedly renovating his home to create a new bedroom, getting the kids set up in school and activities, preparing for their future, and being the trusted, safe, and loving adult who thinks of them first, always. The boys' needs are met, but many of John's former students, athletes, and friends wanted to contribute in a way that further supports John's efforts, possibly giving him respite when needed, and enriching the boys' lives with different activities.

 

The purpose of this fundraiser is two-fold:

1. Provide funds that may give John added support when/where/how he may need it.

2. Provide funds that allow for additional enrichment activities, extra-curriculars, therapy, summer camps, or even a family outing -- anything that helps these boys a.) settle into their new lives with healthy, engaging activities, b.) feel supported and heard, and c.) build a bigger support network after tremendous loss.

 

John Fuller will receive 100% of the funds to support in the care and enrichment activities for his grandsons. Thank you so much for sharing this link and contributing so we may give a little back to the man who has given so much of himself to all of us over the years.
