Hi all,

My name is Lyndsay and I am reaching out in the hope to raise funds for two extraordinary friends, Matt and Kate Lewis. Recently, they have received the worst, most devastating and heartbreaking news that has turned their world upside down. On July 4th 2024, following an eye test, Matt was sent to A & E where he was diagnosed with an aggressive, incurable brain tumour.

The prognosis was crushing; without treatment Matt had only a few precious weeks left with his loved ones. In the hope to extend his time, the medical team scheduled brain surgery for July 16th 2024. Post surgery, Matt will receive Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy at Singleton Hospital.

Matt has dedicated his life to nursing, always prioritising the needs of his patients with compassion and care. He is such a kind friend, who is always there for others when they need him. Now its our turn to help Matt, to support Matt and his beautiful family through the most difficult time of their lives.

Matt and Kate have been together for 23 incredible years - they are each others rock during good times and during the bad. They are such a wonderful, kind and caring couple who are there for so many people. Their kindness, generosity and unwavering support for others have touched countless lives. Now, when their lives have been completely shattered with this unimaginable challenge, its our turn to support them.

Matt and Kate need our help. We aim to raise as much as possible to allow Matt, Kate and their family to create lasting memories together during this extremely difficult time. Matt (being the kind and wonderful man that he is) also wishes for any funds raised to support Kate and their family's future.
