For years, the communities of Hildale, Utah, Colorado City, Arizona, and the surrounding areas have come together to honor a cherished tradition: flying the American flag atop El Capitan. This powerful symbol of freedom and unity has inspired countless residents and visitors, reminding us all of the values we hold dear. I have had the privilege of organizing these flag raising events, with volunteers from all walks of life joining in. Anyone who loves America and what our flag represents is welcome to participate, as long as they are up for the challenging hike to the summit.

Unfortunately, our current flag has become completely torn, and for the first time in years, Old Glory is not flying above our mountain. The need is urgent! Funds raised will go directly toward purchasing new American flags, maintaining the flagpole and site, and supporting the community events that bring us together for this meaningful tradition. Every contribution helps us restore this symbol of hope and pride, ensuring that the banner of freedom once again waves proudly over El Capitan.
