Hello- I'm local mum of 2 who frequently uses Cricklewood Library. Currently the library has a collection of interlocking play mats which are used for the Walk and Talk baby group on Wednesdays and Tell Me A Story on Thursdays.

After 3+ years of use, the mats are starting to wear out.

The volunteer team who run the library have advised that there is no budget to replace the mats. However, if members of the community wish to donate new mats, they would be gratefully received.

I'm starting this collection page to allow anyone interested to help contribute to the cost of replacement. £110 would purchase 40 new interlocking puzzle style floor mats. I will organise the purchase and delivery of the mats.

For me, the library has been a wonderful community hub for meeting other parents and carers. Organising this fundraiser is my way of paying it forward. If you likewise have benefited from Cricklewood Library and would like to see it continue to thrive, please consider donating!

Every little helps- even £1 gets us closer to our goal.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach me via the Gladstone Park Parent's Walk WhatsApp group (Carla).
