
Lets Rebuild Lagos State , Public and Private
Donation protected
During the last #ENDSARS unrest in Nigeria (mostly in Lagos State) many public and private assets were burnt or looted.
The estimated damage is about N700 Billion ($1.5 Billion).
As a result of the above event the Lagos State Government recently inaugurated the Lagos Rebuild Trust fund Committee.
The Chairman of the committee is Mr Yemi Cardoso (Chairman Citibank Nigeria)
Lagos Rebuild Trust Fund Committee welcome support and contributions from well meaning individuals and corporate organizations that believe in the Lagos dream.
To ensure the highest standard of probity, transparency and accountability, FBN (First Bank of Nigeria) Trustees headed by Mr Kunle Awojobi will oversee the Lagos Rebuild Trust Fund committee.
The Trust fund would be responsible for getting detailed cost of restructuring and rebuilding of the destroyed private and public assets
It will also advise the state government on the most critical assets to prioritize and identify as emergency.
In the view of the above we hereby appeal to all Nigerians and well wishers to contribute to this noble cause.
After Proper audit and verification the money collected will be presented to the chairman of the Lagos Rebuild Trust fund Committee.
