Let's Rebuild Damien

Damien is a man who has been homeless for years. After hearing his story, I was compelled to try and help rebuild his life. Took him clothes shopping, brought him food and put him up for a couple nights, but realised that was not enough. He tried to commit suicide, but after immediately being stopped by police and ambulance, he knew that God must be trying to give him a second chance. He has been off drugs and trying to find work to get himself back together.Since then has been off drugs and trying to find work to get himself back together. But as we know it's hard when you're starting from nothing. But spending the day with him, proved to me that he is genuinely trying and showed me just how much a change of scenery and circumstance can help someone who feels like they have nothing. The aim is to help him get some help (rehab, medication), a temporary roof over his head (so he has an address in a safe location) and hopefully that can be a step towards a proper life/start.
