Three weeks ago The Shook’s world was turned upside down when Brooke was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. She has been a devoted wife to Dave and is a mama to their six children: Cali-18, Lani and Leighton-14, Crew-6, Ledger-4 and Maisi-18 months. Brooke works at our local ER where she has devoted the last 15 years as a registered nurse. Brooke will be unable to work for at least nine months, if not more, as she receives her treatment which is why we’re asking the community to help support her as she has cared for so many others.
While this is an uncharted journey they never saw coming, God’s hand has been so evident every step of the way. May He be glorified in every aspect of this, because in the end, He gets the glory for every win along the way. Brooke’s story isn’t over, and we know He is working all of this together for their good.
