It's really weird to be here and posting this, but a lot of people have asked me how they can help me and Mom, and every time I say, "I don't know... I'll let you know when I figure it out." The reality is, I already know and I can't do it all myself.

Mom has health insurance and long-term care insurance, and that will get us part of the way. Mom's care coordinator, the move to supported living, and other mid- and long-term are going to mostly be on me to provide, and to be quite frank, I'm not sure where that money is going to come from.
