Hello everyone

I want to help my friend Suren and his family in Sri Lanka, here is his story...

Suren, was a National Tourist Guide, in Sri Lanka. A naturally gifted soul at his job, passionate and lighthearted, he was truly devoted to his job and best of all he did an amazing job showing people his ravishing island and teaching them about the history, heritage and culture. He played by the rules but also went out of his ways to keep each of his clients super happy and made sure they were more than content after their holiday.

Sadly, his dream job came to an end in April 2019 when the easter bombings took place, at the time he was on a tour and he had to retreat immediately back in to the hotel with his clients for safety and then few months later just when he thought he was getting his life back in order that’s when the pandemic hit, and ever since then he has been unemployed. Although there isn’t a place for tourism in Sri Lanka at the moment, he has tried looking for other jobs so that he can take care of his family but with the current situation there isn’t job offers in Sri Lanka. He has been looking for job placements that can be done from home but unfortunately, they require a computer and a stable internet connection both of which they don’t have at the moment.

In June 2020, Suren and his wife found out they were having a baby. As any parents would be they were thrilled when they found out and with the help of family and few friends, they managed to pay the hospital bill and now with a 06-month baby girl they are faced with tons of obligations that they find almost impossible to do because of the financial issues they are facing. The country is faced with a devasting blow as the 04th wave is spreading like wild fire which has forced Suren, to be placed at home. So, much of piled up bills, loans, debts and house rent that needs to be settled, their baby is due with her vaccinations and they’ve got not a penny in hand to get their baby’s formula and other essentials.

Their baby is now 06 months old and they can’t even afford to buy her clothes and she still wears clothes they got when she was 03 months old, when she cries, they got not a single toy to soothe her so her daddy takes for walks and mesmerizes her with what he knows best by showing her the trees, birds and the wonders of nature.

He is the sole provider and bread winner in his family and I'm hoping the kind people here will help him and his family to be able to raise their heads and not worry about tomorrow.

So, I'm raising these funds, for dear Suren and his family hoping it will help them get back on their feet They will be super thankful for all your help, and every night as they recite the rosary they pray for a miracle, so let us help them and be their miracle.
