Let’s help Stanley’s family ❤️

As many of you may be aware, my best friends son, Stanley passed away over the weekend, leaving a huge hole in the lives of so many.

The outpouring of love, support and community spirit shown to Vicky, Darren and Hugo this week has been incredible. He was clearly adored and cherished by everyone who knew him and stories and memories that have been shared about what a charismatic, popular and cheeky chap he was have been wonderful to hear and I know Vicky appreciates hearing every single one.

Along with Vicky’s close family, I’ve been doing everything I can to support her, Darren and Hugo and I feel that by easing the burden of worrying about finances, at least for a while, this will allow her to focus on her grief and take as much time as she needs for her, Hugo and Darren to adapt to this new and very different way of life they now face.

Vicky is self employed and there is no help out there for bereaved parents in a financial sense. So if we can raise a little bit of money to ease that worry it would be amazing.

I know Vicky takes great comfort in reading all of your messages and seeing your pictures and especially the beautiful display on the bench at the Kingfisher.
