Let’s help out our mate Kat

This week our friend and work mate Kat came home from work to a house knee deep in sewerage. An unfortunate mistake courtesy of Urban Utilities caused a pipe to burst and fill her house. As a result her and her partner Nick have lost everything they own including a new bed and fridge and all their belongings.

In addition to this because of the extent of the damage and hazardous nature of the contents of the pipe they have had their rental contract terminated and more than likely the house will have to be knocked down. Being so suddenly displaced in the current rental market is obviously a nightmare. Because of it being a health hazard they aren’t even allowed to go into the house to try and reclaim anything leaving her her partner Nick and their dog Jemma effectively homeless.

I realise money and funds are a concern for all of us currently but anything you can do to assist I am sure will be greatly appreciated and help get them set up again asap
