More information about Box 55 Association: The Box 55 Fire Buff Association was formed by Chief John Ragsdale of the Nashville Fire Department in 1952. We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Our group is made up of all Volunteers providing service 24 hours-365 days each year. We provide on scene Hydration, Nutrition and environmental support by providing water, Gatorade, snacks, hot beverages and meals for long emergency incidents.
