On my run yesterday I met a homeless woman named Chrissy picking up recycling. She said she’s in the area every Wednesday for trash day and I asked her if she needed anything for me to bring her for the following Wednesday. She smiled and told me she hates asking for help but that whatever I had - she would see me next Wednesday around 1pm. She told me she was happy to take my next week’s recycling but I want to surprise her with something more. My goal is to show up with a little something to get her back on her feet.
