Hello my name is Maria and I’m hoping to raise funds for my mother MORELLA DE OSILIA.

Unfortunately, last June, a week after her 87th birthday, my mom suffered a fall that caused her to break her hip, for which surgery was necessary to place a prosthesis.

It was expected that the day after the surgery, she would begin to take the first steps, however, this did not happen.

From that same week the complications began and we noticed a significant physical and emotional deterioration.

Her pain became unbearable for her, adding other complications such as a rise in sugar (650), the appearance of a bacterium, as well as mental confusion.

The most difficult part of this situation has been listening to mom crying out for mercy from God, saying “I can’t handle this anymore”, calling her mom and her dad.

She is receiving insulin to lower her blood sugar levels, morphine to ease her pain and distress, antibiotics to fight the bacteria, and home care from a nurse for administration of treatments and proper handling of the wound.

Today, my mom is more relieved but she is still in bed and under the influence of morphine, but with all the care, affection and attention from ANA (the nurse who is an angel of God), from my dad (who is without doubt one of the most affected) and my brother Juan Carlo, who has had the hardest part of being involved every day in the complicated search for medicines, daily meals, looking for and taking medical personnel, etc, for when I have left Venezuela for 8 years and my legal status still does not allow me to leave the country where I am.

I can not count the amount of times that she has gone out of his way to help others.

The DAILY expenses have been between $200 and $400 without counting the fees of the medical staff.

With the contribution that God puts in your heart, we will help my mom to live this process without pain and with all the attention and care that she deserves (it is not possible to stop the administration of any of the medications).

Hola mi nombre es Maria y estoy recaudando fondos para el tratamiento de mi mamá MORELLA DE OSILIA.

Desafortunadamente, en junio pasado, una semana después de cumplir sus 87, mi mami sufrió una caída que le provocó una fractura de cadera, por lo cual fue necesaria una cirugía para colocar una prótesis.

Se esperaba que al día siguiente de la cirugía, comenzara a dar los primeros pasos, sin embargo, esto no sucedió así.

Desde esa misma semana comenzaron las complicaciones y notamos un importante deterioro tanto físico como emocional.

Los dolores se hicieron insoportables para ella, sumándose otras complicaciones como la subida de azúcar (650), la aparición de una bacteria, así como un cuadro de confusión mental.

Lo más difícil de esta situación ha sido escuchar a mamá pedir a gritos compasión de Dios, diciendo que ya no puede más y llamando a su mamá y a su papá.

Ella está recibiendo insulina para bajar los niveles de azúcar, morfina para aliviar su dolor y angustia, antibióticos para combatir la bacteria, y la atención en casa de una enfermera para la administración de los tratamientos y la manipulación adecuada de la herida.

Hoy, mi Mami está más aliviada pero sigue en cama y bajo los efectos de la morfina, pero con todos los cuidados, cariños y atenciones por parte de ANA (la enfermera que es un ángel de Dios), de mi papá (que es sin duda uno de los más afectados) y de mi hermano Juan Carlo a quien le ha tocado la parte más dura que implica estar todos los días en la complicada búsqueda de las medicinas, las comidas diarias, buscar y llevar al personal médico, etc, por cuanto yo tengo 8 años que salí de Venezuela y mi estatus legal no me permite aún salir del país donde me encuentro.

No puedo contar la cantidad de veces que mi mamá se ha esforzado por ayudar a los demás.

Los gastos DIARIOS han estado entre los $200 y $400 sin contar los honorarios del personal médico.

Con el aporte que Dios ponga en tu corazón, ayudaremos a mi mami a vivir este proceso sin dolor y con todos las atenciones y cuidados que merece (no es posible parar la administración de ninguno de los medicamentos).
