Hello family, friends, neighbors, colleagues and acquaintances. My name is Angela and I am Michelle’s sister in law. While some of you may know why I am starting this and some others may not. My hope is that we can give Michelle some financial help while she is going to be out of work for a little while.

When Michelle heard her father was in stage 4 kidney failure and needed to start on dialysis right away, she wasn’t sure what this meant and what was going to happen next. After months of him being on dialysis, multiple doctor appointments and trips to Boston to meet with teams of doctors. He found out he would be a candidate to have a kidney transplant and could start the process of testing. The doctors told him to start with family and see if anyone was a match and if not then he would have to go on a waiting list. His children went through the process of being tested and found out Michelle was his match. With multiple appointments, phone calls, drives to Boston and lots of blood work and tests later, they finally have a surgery date. This is a big process and takes a lot to coordinate, and surgery is just a few weeks away, right during the holidays.With that being said it will be a difficult, emotional and stressful day for our family, with not only one person in for surgery but two.

My hopes in starting this is to help Michelle and reduce the financial stress during the holidays while she gives her dad a second chance at life. ❤️
