Our dear friend Meredith, a devoted 42-year-old single income mom to two amazing young boys, has recently been diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Grade 3 — an aggressive form of breast cancer.

Meredith is the kind of person who gives endlessly — to her children, her friends, and her community. She’s the mom who always shows up with a smile, the friend who listens without judgment, and the neighbor who’s first to lend a helping hand. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

Meredith’s treatment plan will be long and demanding. Over the next 14 months, she will undergo chemotherapy, followed by two major surgeries, and then immunotherapy. These treatments will take a tremendous toll on her body and make it impossible for her to work full-time while she focuses on recovery.

She has already used her savings and RRSPs to stay afloat for her boys, leaving little to fall back on during this incredibly difficult time. We are hoping to raise $25,000 to help cover essential living expenses, so Meredith can focus entirely on what matters most: healing and being there for her children.
