<div>Our dear friend Meredith, a devoted 42-year-old single income mom to two amazing young boys, has recently been diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Grade 3 — an aggressive form of breast cancer.

<div>Meredith is the kind of person who gives endlessly — to her children, her friends, and her community. She’s the mom who always shows up with a smile, the friend who listens without judgment, and the neighbor who’s first to lend a helping hand. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

<div>Meredith’s treatment plan will be long and demanding. Over the next 14 months, she will undergo chemotherapy, followed by two major surgeries, and then immunotherapy. These treatments will take a tremendous toll on her body and make it impossible for her to work full-time while she focuses on recovery.

<div>She has already used her savings and RRSPs to stay afloat for her boys, leaving little to fall back on during this incredibly difficult time. We are hoping to raise $25,000 to help cover essential living expenses, so Meredith can focus entirely on what matters most: healing and being there for her children.
