Let's help Logan STRYKE out cancer!
Donazione protetta
Let's help Logan Stryke out cancer one donation at a time! With your help we can support Logan and his family through the toughest medical battle they have faced so far.
Please take a minute to read Logan's story and help if you are able to. Any amount will be greatly appreciated by this amazing family.
As many of you know, in October of 2022 we learned that our eldest son Logan had a rare type of bone cancer. With the support of you, our family, our friends, our community, we raised Logan's spirits and rallied to battle through the surgical removal of his right scapula and 14 rounds of chemotherapy. We monitored and scanned his body in February, May and August of 2023. All three of those scans showed no evidence of the return of his rare disease.
When we went in for his next scheduled scan in November 2023, we were nervous as usual but somewhat optimistic. Logan, with his full head of hair was in good spirits, pain free and appeared healthy. He was regularly attending school, playing with friends and even signed up to join the running club.
Unfortunately, when we received the results of his scans, they showed that underneath the outward appearance of normalcy was our greatest fear, his cancer had returned and this time, in his chest and neck.
We will fight cancer together with an attitude of gratitude for all who have supported and continue to support us in this fight. We continue to be grateful for all of you and we continue to be grateful for Logan’s enchanting personality, commanding presence and limitless generosity.
Our plan for round 2 treatment is ever changing as insurance is being tricky. As of right we are in the process of completing 5 days of radiation and we are hoping to get approval from insurance for a chemo pill.
We ask that you please keep Logan in your prayers and believe in miracles.
With Love,
Scott, Rachel, Logan & Griffin
