Hi friends, thanks for checking out our fundraiser. Many of you know our son has three biological siblings. We've always been pretty close with them and their mom, Lessie. So close in fact that we had a joint adoption day! Lessie has welcomed us into the fold since day one and we're so thankful for her willingness to make us (and more importantly, our son) a part of her family.

Over the past year or so, Lessie has had a go of it with her car situation. Shortly after paying off her car last year (which is always a big sigh of relief), it was totaled in an accident. She purchased a new car and still owes payments. Whether it's the heat of the summer or something more, the car died the other day (confirmed it's not simply the battery).

While Lessie works hard for the public school system and the YMCA to provide for herself and her kids (as well as any other folks who need her support), I'd love for Lessie to receive some help in fixing her car and alleviate some of the burden of car payments over the next little while (or if somehow this makes a ton of money, get a newer, more reliable car).
