Let's Help Kim & Her Grandma
Donation protected
Hey there Good People; it's time we share something your favorite GoodPeople barista is going through.
Kim has been part of the GoodPeople family since 2018, over the years, we have all had the privilege of being served excellent coffee from Kim, including me. What makes her coffee excellent is not so much the coffee and gear; but the heart you know she put into it, the way she makes you feel when you walk into the shop. That experience is excellence.
Some may not be aware, but Kim is missed on the bar; she's currently at home nursing a fractured foot and awaiting a surgical procedure.
Now her Grandmother in Honduras is sick, and no one has been available to take proper care of her; wanna guess who's flying out next week to take care of her... you guessed right, Kim.
That's who she is; she puts aside her needs for the ones she loves.
The silver lining here is a unique opportunity for all of us to show her love and support back.
Traveling to Honduras and being with her Grandma will be a chance for her to rest and heal; and be a comfort to her Grandma.
Kim is a hard worker; this woman has been working full-time jobs since the age of 14.
Any support you can give will be greatly appreciated to help her with the financial burden of this and a way to love on her family the way she has loved on you and made you her family.
GoodPeople will also be open Friday, October 14th, 5 pm to 8 pm; proceeds of all sales and tips that evening will go directly to Kim.
Come hang with us, Kim will be chilling in the patio.
We Love Ya.
