Hello Everyone... 

I am creating this appeal on behalf of a close friend who's five year old son Hunter has been diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer, a type of blood cancer.

Hunter and his family all contracted Covid19 over the Christmas period and unfortunately due to this Hunter was rushed into St Thomas' hospital for treatment. The doctors discovered that his intestines had twisted causing his bowel to turn black resulting in an operation to remove part of his stomach. Whilst in hospital doctors performed tests on Hunter, after he was discharged his parents received an unexpected phone call from the hospital informing them that terrifyingly his ordeal was not over. They have discovered that Hunter has a rare condition called Burkitt Lymphoma Cancer which approximately 210 people across the UK suffer from each year.

Just like many others its been a challenging year for Hunter and his family, not only have they now got the emotional strain of this disease but they are also suffering financially. Hunter's mum is pregnant with their third child and is currently out of work leaving his dad to predominantly support the family on his income. Unfortunately due to being self employed and understandably needing to take time off to be with his family unpaid this will prove to be an overwhelming struggle.

Hunter will be starting chemotherapy at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton in the upcoming weeks, the reason I have set up this page is to ask anybody reading this if they could please make a donation to help Hunter's family get through this difficult time, any sum big or small would be hugely appreciated.
