Lets help Georgie fight Breast Cancer

Hi everyone, this is Michelle and Tomas both in Australia at the moment, and Georgina is our mum living in Argentina.

For those who do not know Georgina is a truly powerful woman. She has always been, and will continue to be, an amazing mum to many people throughout her beautiful years. A woman with boundless energy while taking on numerous challenges, such as half Ironman, triathlons, various kayaking and adventure races. Someone that never stops at anything that comes her way, “run Forrest run” describes her well.

She was an exceptional hockey player at school,generally playing as Left Wing. Basically great at “dribbling the ball” along the side lines and always eager to strike a goal!

The reason of the found!

Sadly Georgie is facing her most significant challenge yet, as life has thrown her a curveball with Breast Cancer that has already spread to some lymph nodes. A cancer that its not common, only 30% of women may get this kind of cancer. It needed a very quick treatment to stop from spreading.

This news was not what this beautiful family anticipated. BUT now, on a positive perspective, surprised to see more of her strengths and resilience she is tackling and dribbling this massive challenge head-on!

Our dear Mum has already endured many emotional and physical changes due to the intense chemotherapy and awaiting for a crucial operation to hopefully overcome this burden. The surgery has been postponed a couple of times but hopefully happening this coming Friday, July 5th

I ,Michelle , had to leave my job in Australia to be with mum. Grateful that my boss has allowed me this time off without working.

Family and friends are filled with faith and praying with boldness that the chemotherapy and surgery will be extraordinarily effective. Now that this news spreads publicly to all seas, (Argentina, Uruguay, Scotland, England, Australia, USA, Spain, South Africa, New Zealand, etc.), we would like to include new friends from near and far to join this great cause!
