A FIGHT for Benji's Upbringing

I'm Katie Hill and I'm helping to organize this fundraiser on behalf of Cheryl's family.

Cancer has unfortunately touched the lives of almost everyone in the world. It once again hit someone very special to me.

This is my beautiful friend, Cheryl Roach.

Cheryl is an amazing mom, grandmother, great-grandmother & a dear friend/shoulder to cry on to many at the young age of 58. A lot may know her as one of THE BEST massage therapists in Cape Breton! She has the kindest heart and is ALWAYS the first person to offer a helping hand to anyone in need!

A few short weeks ago, Cheryl and her family were blindsided with devastating news after her being off work with pneumonia turned out to be lung cancer.

Cheryl being the tough cookie she is, knew immediately she has quite the battle ahead of her, but is ready to fight this disease with everything in her and she’s determined to win this battle.

As I’m sure you’re all aware, having an illness such as cancer can and has been extremely costly and the last thing Cheryl should worry about are bills, medications, hospital visits ect.. all money raised will be used to help her with anything she may need during this difficult time and all monies not used will be donated to a foundation in her name which details will follow once in place.

Her battle is our battle – she has an incredible army of people behind her who love her dearly to lift her up, that will be with her every step of the way. Please stand with us in supporting Cheryl on her journey through the unknown and share a memory you have to help lift her spirits!
