This is my grandmother Brigida and I having a wonderful time a few years ago.
On behalf of my family, we wish for her to walk without the fear of missing a leg.
We are the Reyna/Reina family and our story begins in Venezuela with a wonderful woman named Brigida.
She, along with her husband, may he rest in peace, brought to this world the lovely people that you see in the following pictures: two daughters, two sons, and many grandchildren.
Brigida has enjoyed the health that she can have but is also always in the shadow of having type 2 diabetes complications. As you may or may not know, one effect diabetes has is bad blood flow, especially in the legs and feet.
This is now Brigida’s case. After years of dealing with diabetes, she has to get surgery because of clogged arteries in her leg. The surgery, an angioplasty, consist to add tubes in her legs to make sure that her blood is circulating enough for her to continue to have a normal life without the pain and fear of losing her leg.
The situation in Venezuela makes it difficult to raise the money, and we have to act fast.
This how will use the funds:
* Surgery 80%
* Transportation fees 5%
* Complications 10%
* Follow up and transfer fees 5%
As a family we would like to thank you for taking the time to read our story, if your heart desires to donate for her surgery, we would be more than grateful to you, if that is not the case, your prayers are as equally important. We hope you and yours can enjoy life at its fullest, with happiness, health and abundant love.
