SLORolling is a Classic Volvo Nonprofit organization from San Luis Obispo, California. They work tirelessly and selflessly to help the community of vintage Volvo enthusiasts through their many events and programs. I've been a beneficiary of their generosity in the past, and I want to pay it back and forward by supporting their Parts Shed, KICKstart, and Scholarship programs. I'm also fundraising for my cross-country road trip in the car built by support from the Volvo community and Patreon.

Life can throw you some curve balls, like engine failure in one car (164) and transmission failure in another (XC90), but adversity builds perseverance and triumph makes for a good story. As I wrap up the work on my crowdfunded 164 project, I move forward in a big step of taking it across the country for the Volvo Club of America National Meet car show in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania this labor day weekend. departing from Los Angeles, it's a zig-zag with a new travel friend, and East Coast resident, Vanessa. Together we will document the trip for my youtube channel and present SLORolling with a check for half of all the money raised here, and our thanks for their contributions to the Volvo community at large.
