I'm writing this on behalf of my dearest friend, singer-songwriter David Wilcox. Dave has spent almost 40 years with his incredible wife, Nance. The last 10 years were also spent supporting Nance, who recently passed away from Parkinson's disease.

While Dave is navigating his grief, I know that he is deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support from his friends, fans, and the wider community.

I'm stepping in to launch this campaign because I know how much people love him and want to do something meaningful.

Many of you have asked, "What can I do?" If you've been touched by his music, his stories, or his or Nance’s spirit, this is how you can give back, if you like.

In lieu of sending flowers, meals, or cards, a donation here is the most practical and immediate way to support Dave and Nate through this next chapter.

This GoFundMe is not intended to cover years of medical bills, but rather to serve as a transitional fund. The funds will allow Dave and Nate some breathing room to focus on healing.
