Let’s get this Momma in a Honda! Or a Kia?

Hello. I hope this finds you well. Our dear Mother is turning the Big Seven Oh, My God Debbie is 70!

As she heads towards retirement and this next phase in life, we wanted to chip in for this milestone birthday to help get the car she deserves. Because let’s be honest, she will not do it for herself, as she always puts the needs of others above her own. And since she’ll likely never stop working or taking care of people, let’s help her stay on the road for as long as she can, or until the State of Florida revokes her driving privileges.

To know our mother, is to know a woman with super human abilities, who’s sacrificed for others her entire life. She raised 5 children, 6 if you include my Dad, Billy. She’s always bent the limitations in her life to work to her advantage. She’d stretch a few dollars into a family dinner that would make even Martha Steward proud. Her examples taught us resilience and that anything was possible with a little creativity and confidence.

Growing up, we often times had only one vehecile. To this day, I am still baffled that we managed it all, as family of 7, with 5 of us working full or part-time jobs. And with us kids pursuing sports, music, and other passions, we were oblivious to all she was doing to keep the train on the track and make sure we weren’t left wanting for anything. I’m grateful for those years and the lessons learned, especially when I see how far we’ve all come along.

We are putting this out to family, friends, and community to help get our sexy, single, and lovable mamma into her future forever vehicle. Help us celebrate all the times Debbie has given you a ride, or asked you for one, as we all know how hard it can be to ask for help. Let’s help her so she can continue to bring all of her love and (hair cutting) skills to the masses. Let’s give back the same way she has always given to us. Thank you.
