Many of you have heard our story and what happened to my baby girls The other day. Saddest thing for them as they're are pure and innocent minded children and didn't think this would happen at all. They simply forgot their new replica cars out front after our walk/ride around the block. They had a Red Mercedes Benz AMG G63 2 seater Jeep and a Pink Police car bc my other daughter wants to be a Police ♀️ when she grows up.
That day was very hot so we came in for drinks and as their mother I feel horrible this happened because I wish I had paid more attention or went back outside to make sure they brought them in, but they’re kids!!! I am just adjusting to online school with them and when we got back their brother needed my help with his zoom link for a class meeting. Hes a freshman and just wants to make sure he’s starting on the right foot and I as his mother wanted to help him. I got sidetracked and started making the kids lunch also. We were planning on going to 711 after for slurpees and well let's just say this distance learning and heat got the best of us. When we came back out my daughters were in tears when they didn’t see their cars out front and it was a whirlpool of emotions for us all. Someone saw their cars out front and stole them! My daughters are devastated and so am I. My heart is broken We worked really hard to get them these cars for them and my oldest daughter set up a Lemonade stand last month to help us speed things up and get them their car. She’s waited for this moment for years. I have 4 children so saving wasn’t easy especially for a pair because I have 3 little girls, and for another pair isn't going to be something fast. My daughter bday is next Saturday on the 29th and my littlest one is 10 days after and my other one just had her birthday and with Covid we have not been able to throw her a party and when we did a drive by birthday for her nobody came. She waited outside for 2 hours. It was very sad. So we were determined to get them these cars and we did and it brought them so much life and they even got to go outside and enjoy themselves.
My little one wants to go back out and set up her Lemonade stand but with this heat and smoke it's not going to happen as I don’t want to expose them to the smoke and trigger their asthma.
Concord Pd is working with us on this case and have shared the incident to their FB page to help us spread the word so that everyone can keep their eyes opened incase they see their cars and help us bring them back. They mentioned “as if the kids don’t already have it bad enough already”, during this time, and they’re right! The kids don’t need this right now and with this whole pandemic it has made it hard for us to entertain them or do anything fun. We can’t even go to the park down the street because it’s closed! Having these little cars for them was their joy and life. I don’t want these thieves to take that from them. I want to restore their faith in our community/ neighbors. No one should ever steal from kids!!! We hope that we can come together and make this happen for them since they worked their butts off with their lemonade stand to get their little cars. It really takes a village and I’m grateful to those that have and are reaching out to help. So here is our fundraiser.
