Hey folks,

As most of you know my husband, steve, had an accident last year and was left as a quadriplegic.

He has come so far but still has a long way to go.

Steve uses a motorised wheelchair to get around in but because we dont have an accessible van he has been using a manual chair when we go out.

This is restricting as he can not use it himself meaning someone is having to push him around.

He has been approved for a ramp platform thing that goes onto the back of my car so that he can transfer into my car and we put his motorised wheelchair on the back and tie it down.

Unfortunately my car does not have a tow hitch so we are looking at raising some funds to be able to get one installed. Ndis do not cover these.

We haven't been able to go out as a family because his manual chair is taking up the back row of seats and this ramp platform thing will allow us to get out again with much more ease!

We are so excited to be able to go out as a family again and steve be able to be more independent when we are out.
