Lets Get Mohamad to France - a transplant awaits!

Mohamad Shalem is a 13 year old child in Lebanon who has developed acute on chronic liver and kidney failure. He is in desperate need of a whole liver and kidney transplant. Multiple transplant centres have been consulted and it was decided that Paris was most suitable location for him to undergo this delicate procedure, given that it cannot be done in Lebanon. 

The French Minister of Health will cover the the cost of the organs, however the fee of the hospital stay and the equipment remains outstanding. The estimated cost of this is 2 hundred thousand dollars US ($293427 AUS).  

Mr Nezor Houli, a Melbourne based liver and pancreatic surgeon trained in the field of liver transplantation and organ donation, has spoken to Mohamad's father directly who has extended his plea for help to the world. We hope to hit this target (or as close to it as possible) within the next 7 days to ensure this young boy has a chance at life.
