LET'S GET LOUDER: For Trans Lives
Donation protected
Kentucky legislators are leveling an all-out attack on trans lives. The GOP has introduced at least 10 bills that target our trans community and will cost lives. LGBTQ children are already 4x more likely to commit suicide, and homicides of trans people have doubled in the past four years, especially among Black trans women.
On March 10th, local musicians and community members are coming together to shine a light on this political violence and to celebrate trans life. 100 percent of event proceeds will be split between the family of Louisville’s Zachee Imanitwitaho, whose family has been raising funds to cover funeral costs after her tragic murder, and the Kentucky Health Justice Network’s Trans Health Advocacy Fund. KHJN provides financial assistance, direct services, and education for trans Kentuckians seeking gender-affirming care. The budget for direct care services is about $20,000. Let's show up for our trans family by making a huge contribution toward those services.
You can purchase tickets here to Let's Get Louder for Trans Lives. We encourage additional contributions here to help with this important cause.
