Let's Gather Together and Help Maury

Hey Facebook Peeps, I am creating this Go Fund Me account for a great friend of mine, Maury Scobee. If you don't know Maury, he worked for Rev. Billy Graham as his personal assistant for 42 years. If you do know Maury, then he has touched your life in some way or another. He is the kindest, sweetest, loving, most caring, most giving, most generous man that there is. He is like an angel unaware.

If you have not heard, Maury was diagnosed with Fronto-temporal lobe dementia last summer. He had to retire from the Billy Graham Library, where he was serving as the Library Ambassador. He had to give up driving, and cannot live alone anymore. He has had to move to Longview, Texas, where he grew up, to live with his brother Greg.

He has had some hard times in the last few years -- in fact, this year alone, he has been in the hospital three times, the last time due to a heart attack with severe blood clots in his lungs. With hospital bills piling up, he is in need of our help.

I have never met anyone that has been loved by so many people. And one last thing, when you give, please share with your Facebook friends, or with people who Maury has known over the years.

I cannot wait to see how we bless Maury.
