Let's Figure It Out: A Community Fundraiser

The Solarpunk Summit is an exercise in trust and my daily mantra has been "I'll figure it out." In the beginning, vision is all that there is. Vision and radical optimism of course. I begin this journey with the trust that everything necessary for the realization of the vision will be made available. Don't get me wrong; fear and doubt are frequent visitors. Yet with every new collaborator and synchronicity, we push past the fear together into a more beautiful world.

This past Solarpunk Summit, we created an instance of how a radically optimistic future might look and feel. There was inclusion, there was purpose, and there was a pervasive energy of giving and connection. There was family, there was safety, there was hope, and there was ritual and ceremony. We were met in all of our aspects.

Inclusion is incredibly important to us. We live in and recognize the financial system as an instrument for great change, and yet, not all have cracked the code of financial abundance. I certainly have more to figure out in that realm. More than half of our attendees contribute in some other way than through the purchase of a ticket. This means we figure out how to do a lot, with very little in financial resources. Sometimes we come up short. Not in the experience of course. The Solarpunk Summit experience is a divine orchestration. Yet this time around, we've come up short financially.

This is an invitation to support me and to support the Solarpunk Summit. Maybe you've cracked the financial code. Maybe you have a few dollars to spare. Maybe the world we're building is worth a little or a lot of sacrifice.

Maybe a vision so beautiful, so meaningful, and so large as the Solarpunk Summit isn't something only one person should figure out. Maybe my new mantra will be "let's figure it out".

Pay annual Solarpunk Summit operation costs

If we meet our goals, and we can ensure everyone feels whole, any remainder will be used for a small compensation for my work on the Solarpunk Summit and to begin to build a beautiful New Year's Eve experience.
