Lets do the right thing for Officer Angus

First and foremost, I was not asked to do this. This will be coming from us to show appreciation to Guyton Elementary School Resource officer who was denied a Christmas bonus from his employer, the City of Guyton because he is leaving in January. On Tuesday Dec 13th, the city council voted to give all employees a 500-dollar bonus except those who had resignation letters turned in. Officer Angus let the city know on Dec 1st, he would be leaving in January and even offered to help train a new resource officer. He was not made aware that a bonus was even up for discussion. As he is a first responder and is the first contact our kids see in the morning, if anybody deserves a bonus it would be him! Shame on the City of Guyton! Every penny made will go directly to him!
