Internet, meet Hannah ❤️.
Hannah is a 60-year-old woman who has been struggling with homelessness for several years, yet she hasn't lost her hope or her hilarious sense of humor. Although Hannah was going through an unimaginable circumstance, she spent her Valentine’s Day showing me the true meaning of resilience. We shared her first restaurant meal since before Covid, played games at the arcade, and she let me into her world where her loyal dog, Hugo, is her everything. She refuses to be separated from him, often saying, “Where Hugo, I go.”
Hannah is currently battling cancer and needs life-saving surgery, but she is facing a crisis. She is staying in a motel shelter that ends at the end of February. Without a stable home to recover in, she cannot get the treatment she needs. My goal is to help her secure a safe place to live for a year, pay utilities, and cover the costs of her surgery so she can recover with dignity and comfort.
Let's all come together and show Hannah the power of the internet and bless her. 100% of the funds raised will go to getting Hannah a roof over her head for a year, paying her utilities, and covering her surgery costs so she can recover with dignity. Be kind and love always.
Lastly, if you are willing or wanting to help Hannah and Hugo with housing leads or support in the Los Angeles area, please email me.
