The other day, I was hungry and I walked up to a street vendor who was selling watermelons out of his truck bed and asked if I could have one for free because I hadn't eaten all day. The street vendor immediately reached into his truck bed and gave me a watermelon to eat. I struck up a conversation with him, and he said his name was Andrick. I rewarded Andrick for his kindness and gave him $500. When I gave him the money, he was shocked and said it would help him and his family so much. His family has been experiencing challenges for many years, including Andrick having kidney failure and being on dialysis for the last 30 years. His wife is legally blind, and they have two children. Right now, they struggle with keeping up on paying the bills. So, I say our community comes together and supports Andrick and his family and shows them how much God loves them, so we can help take some pressure off Andrick as he supports his family.
