Friends, Family, Community... This is an invitation to support the creation of a shareable, streamable, playable soundtrack that in essence, supports and affirms the beauty of the natural world, the world we hope to live in, and even more so, the world we are leaving the next generations...

Over a decade in the making, the pot has simmered, been stirred, and is now ready to be served. Equipped with a full album's worth of songs, I am so ready to record this album and make this available to your ears, and to the ears yet to hear these tunes, these prayers.

With the steady support from my friends and musical allies, this funding will allow me to get into the recording studio, pay my incredible musicians to help bring this music to the next level, and cover the expenses of all the logistics it requires to release music into the world these days... Being an independent artist requires community support and I'm leaning into you all. Truly, with all of my heart, I'm trying to create beauty for you to sonically lean into.

Some of you may know, for the last 8 years, I have stepped into the heart-wrenching reality of becoming a full-time care provider for my mom as her health declined into an extensive journey into hospice. Her journey continues as she makes her way into this 3rd year of hospice. In a decision to support my own mental, physical, and spiritual health AND my path as an artist and musician, my family has now leaned into more external support, allowing me some spaciousness to focus my energy on bringing this music to life. After many years of having to heartbreakingly decline events and invitations and putting this music on the back burner, the music in its essence has stayed with me close and strong, including the blessing of receiving incredible new songs. I know my mom's support lives strong in this music, as a good mama, she was always the #1 fan. I'd like to think that I can move forward from this really hard passage of life with even more strength, grace, clarity and with the mission of this music as a support for tall trees and our relationship to loving land right where we stand...

You may have heard some of these new tunes as I've returned to performing locally, like Sea Shanties (Gaia's Sacred Space Station); Avellana (Spring Fed Stream Bed - The Hazel Song); Starshine (Stir it Up)- to name a few, and there's more!!! There's a really clear thematic thread through these songs, and with that, what I envision is that these songs have a life of their own, traveling far and wide, beyond what I can even imagine. Part of the big dream is to see these songs being utilized by non-profits to support initiatives/actions that protect intact old-growth forests and therefore, carbon sequestration, clean water, and clean air. And for you dear listener and supporter, songs that support your heart in these turbulent times.
