Let’s Be There For Tammy, Who Has Been There For Others

My name is Caren, some of you may know me as Caren Zich from high school. I have known Tammy since going to Park School a million years ago. We had always been friends at a distance, but Facebook and our love of animals and hobbies have made our friendship closer. Along with Becky McCreath or Becky Fitzi from high school are trying to help our dear friend who is in need of help and like all of us, hate to ask for it, you know- that “proud factor”. The following is a wonderful write up that Becky did.

So we ask:

Please Everyone, our friend Tammy needs our help!

Many of you know what a wonderful person Tammy is. She is so incredibly kind, she is a pillar of strength for anyone in need, and she is well known for sending her special message of

“Love and Light and Blessings” to everyone she meets.

Tammy would never ask for help, (because she has always been the helper of those in need)

but I want to do something to assist her with the upcoming expenses she will face due to a devastating health issue.

If you grew up in Round Lake IL, you’ll remember that Tammy went to highschool with many of us. As an adult, she raised her boys as a single mom, and has always worked hard to provide for their needs successfully.

She spent her life caring for and supporting others, she has been a dear friend to many, and she has always put her family, her friends and her dear pets and animals in need first! Did you know Tammy rescued many abandoned raccoon babies?

Our wonderful Tammy has never met a raccoon she didn’t love! Helping wildlife orphans became a specialty of hers.

But right now, Tammy needs our help!

In the last few years, she finally found a job she loved that allowed her to work from home.

But because of a devastating and sudden nerve-related injury, she is unable to use her hands, fingers, and she struggles to walk, because the nerve damage causes numbness, tingling and pain in all of her extremities.

This affects every aspect of her life, including her ability to type on a keyboard for her full time job as a customer service agent.

Being forced into short term disability by this condition means Tammy will be without a paycheck for 2 weeks, then only receive 60% of her income while on disability.

Her immediate needs are to cover both medical and living expenses until she can return to work.

Tammy spent her lifetime caring for so many, and she is usually the one who creates GoFundMe pages for people in need.

We think it’s HER turn to receive some love!

Please help her during this very difficult time! Whatever you can spare, anything would be amazing.
