When Dan and Jade welcomed baby Theo into their lives, their hearts were full. They never imagined that just months later, their world would be turned upside down.

Jade has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 heart and lung failure, a life-limiting condition that has dramatically changed the course of their lives. She now requires daily professional care, in addition to the constant love and support provided by Dan and their family.

Dan, a dedicated Emergency Ambulance Associate with the Ambulance Service, has stepped into the full-time role of carer for Jade, while also embracing the demands of being a new father to Theo. His strength and devotion is truly inspiring, but the weight of this responsibility has come with significant emotional and financial challenges, especially as Dan is currently unable to work.

Jade is still in the hospital, and for her to return home safely, the family must move to a more suitable property. While the housing provider will assist with some essential adaptations, the cost of relocating and other necessary modifications must be covered by the family.
